Drug Uses

Levbid is a medicine that is used to control medical conditions like excessive product of acid in the stomach, excessive secretion from the pancreas, and excessive sweating and drooling cause by some diseases, for example Parkinson’s disease.

How Taken

Levbid is available in the form of capsules that are specially developed to release slowly in the body. Each capsule should be taken with a full glass of water. You should swallow the capsules whole; do not crush, chew or open them.

Warnings/Precautions

Inform your doctor in case you have numbness or tingling in your hands or feet; liver disease; ulcerative colitis; thyroid problems; high blood pressure, an irregular heartbeat, or any type of heart disease; enlargement of the prostate; or asthma, chronic lung disease, or allergies. If you suffer from any of the above-mentioned conditions, you may not been able to use Levbid or your dosage may have to be adjusted, or you may have to be monitored during the treatment. Consult your doctor before taking Levbid if you are pregnant because it is not known if the medicine is harmful for a fetus. Also, consult your doctor before using the medicine in case you are breast feeding.

Missed Dose

In case you miss a dose, take the missed tablet as soon as you remember. However, if it is already time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed one and take the regular dose. Do not take a double dose to catch up the missed one.

Possible Side Effects

Discontinue the usage of Levbid and search for medical help if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives); an irregular or fast heart rate; rash or flushing; or eye pain. Other less serious adverse effects may occur. Consult your doctor but do not stop using Levbid if you have headache, dizziness, or lightheadedness; weakness or nervousness; blurred vision, large pupils, or sensitivity of the eyes to bright light; nausea, bloating, heartburn, or constipation; changes in taste.

Storage

Levbid should be stored at a room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the medicine away from children.

Overdose

Immediately search for medical help if you suspect an overdose. An overdose of Levbid may be signaled by the following symptoms: headache; nausea; vomiting; dry mouth; difficulty swallowing; blurred vision; dilated pupils; hot, dry skin; dizziness; drowsiness; confusion; anxiety; seizures; weak pulse; and an irregular heartbeat.
